1. Introduction

NoReels ("the App") is a digital wellbeing application that blocks YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels to help users reclaim focus and reduce screen time addiction. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Personal Data: NONE. NoReels does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information, including:

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• Photos, videos, or files
• Messages or communications
• Financial information
• Health or fitness data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes

Crash Reports (Optional): With your consent, NoReels may collect anonymous crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics to help fix bugs. These logs contain:

• Stack traces (where the app crashed)
• Device model and Android version
• App version number

Crash reporting is optional and can be disabled in Settings. No personal information is included in crash reports.

3. Accessibility Service

NoReels uses Android's Accessibility Service to detect when you navigate to YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels, and redirect you back to the app's home feed.

Important: The Accessibility Service is used ONLY to:

• Detect navigation to YouTube Shorts tab (com.google.android.youtube)
• Detect navigation to Instagram Reels tab (com.instagram.android)
• Redirect the user back to the respective app's home feed

NoReels does NOT use the Accessibility Service to read messages, passwords, keystrokes, screen content, or any personal information from any app.

4. Data Storage

All app data (settings, block counts, usage statistics) is stored locally on your device only. No data is uploaded to any server or cloud service. Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently.

5. Third-Party Services

NoReels uses Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) for optional crash reporting. You can view Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

No advertising SDKs or analytics platforms are used. NoReels contains zero advertisements.

6. Children's Privacy

NoReels is a parental control and digital wellbeing tool. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 18. No registration or account creation is required.

7. Data Security

Since NoReels collects no personal data and stores everything locally on your device, there is no cloud data to secure. Your PIN (if set) is stored as a cryptographic hash - it cannot be reversed to retrieve your original PIN.

8. Your Rights

Since NoReels stores no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete beyond uninstalling the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
